Westlake Lacrosse

Welcome to the 2017 Spring Season!

 

The Westlake Lacrosse Club (WLC) is a non-profit, community based lacrosse program that was       formed in 2004 and currently boasts over 160 boys and girls in grades 3-8; making it one of the oldest and largest clubs in the Conejo Valley. Westlake Lacrosse provides year round opportunities and information for our players to participate in various lacrosse programs, leagues, clinics and events. Westlake Lacrosse is a member club of the Southern California Lacrosse Association (SCLA).

HOME FIELD: 

The Boys teams home field for the 2017 season is ARROYO VISTA PARK.  4550 Tierra Rejada Rd, Moorpark, CA 93021

Schedule:

  • Practices start week of January 23th- all teams practice 2 times a week (at Westlake Hills Elementary and/or Russell Park. Practices are 1-1.5 hours depending on your age division)
  • First Season Games- March 4th
  • Games start in March and go through mid May. Games are on Saturdays and some Sundays.

Directions to the Westlake Hills (inside the gate) practice fields: 

  • from the 101 freeway, go up Westlake Blvd towards Thousand Oaks Blvd. 
  • Turn left onto Cascade Drive
  • When you dead end into the school, turn right on Panamint Court
  • Proceed to the end of the cul-de-sac.  Fields are inside the gate
  • Please have the kids at the fields geared up and ready to start at the start time.  

Directions to the Russell Park (outside the gate) practice fields:

  • from the 101 freeway, go up Westlake Blvd towards Thousand Oaks Blvd. 
  • Turn left onto Thousand Oaks Blvd
  • Turn right on Duesenberg (by the post office and car wash)
  • Turn right on Clear Water Street
  • The street will dead end onto Medicine Bow at Russell park.  Practice is on these fields
  • Please have the kids at the fields geared up and ready to start at the start time. 

Games-

Games will be starting with the Jamboree tournament on the weekend of 2/25.  

Regular season games will start the next weekend on March 4th.

would love to hear suggestions for my 6th grader, 13 years old in october can be introduced to lacrosse - clinics? where? etc.....
